GCoM Steering Committee Call for nominations

Mayors and councillors are invited to submit an application for the inaugural Oceania GCoM Steering Committee by 7 September 2020. The Steering Committee will provide strategic advice and advocacy for the GCoM program throughout Oceania region. It will also communicate the benefits and opportunities of GCoM and encourage other councils to join and explore opportunities to grow the program through the formation of partnerships.

Since then, the Council has progressed on many fronts including net-zero emissions targets, urban greening, cycling infrastructure, waste management and sustainable procurement. Sally Moxham joins GCoM Oceania as Manager of Strategy & Partnerships

We are very excited to welcome Sally Moxham, who recently joined ICLEI Oceania as the new Manager of Strategy and Partnership for the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy (GCoM). Sally's role will be to develop a GCoM regional delivery plan involving local government networks and climate action groups, sharing GCoM resources and initiatives, identifying partnership opportunities, and establishing an active Oceania region voice.
