CitiesWithNature Webinar: Greening the Private Realm Part 2

  • ICLEI Oceania Level 8, 225 Bourke Street Melbourne, 3000 Australia (map)

Last November in our Webinar “Greening the Private Realm” we looked at how to motivate private greening via two cutting-edge reports: “Let’s Grow” by Greener Spaces Better Places and  “Let’s Scale-Up” by EarthWatch Institute Australia. This second webinar explores ways of driving urban greening through “Council Planning, Policy and Regulatory Levers”. It will balance the “carrot” marketing and incentives approach from part one with a more regulatory “stick” approach.

This webinar is targeted at elected officials, leaders, and officers from municipal, metropolitan and regional authorities across Australia, community members, the private sector and academia.
