BESS: GPC Training Module

The BESS training module was developed to provide an introduction to the basic concepts of the GPC. The module has been designed to be accessible to a general audience who may not have a technical background or experience in emissions reporting.

BESS stands for four conceptual areas of the GPC: Boundaries, Emissions, Scope and Sectors. The training module takes you through each area step by step and explains the critical concepts in each. At the end of each area you can test what you’ve learned in a quick quiz. A final test will indicate whether you would benefit from a ‘deeper dive’ into more technical training on the GPC.
